Malaysia Single Entry Visa
All foreign citizens should first check whether they need an entry visa to Malaysia before going to the country for short stay. Most of nationalities are able to enter Malaysia visa-free for short periods of stay, but others are required to obtain a visa in advance.

for Malaysia through an electronic application, either as a single-entry or
multiple-entry travel document.
The Single Entry Visa for Malaysia is available through a simple online application.
Eligible foreigners can apply online and to receive an approved eVisa by email, eliminating the hassle to apply from an embassy or consulate.
Malaysia's online Single Entry Visa is allowed to stay in the country for a total of 30 days for traveling,
visiting relatives or friends, and is valid for up to 3 months from the date of issuance. The Single Entry Visa is non extendable.
Citizens of the following countries are eligible to apply for a Malaysia's Single Entry
Visa:
- Bhutan
- Bangladesh
- China
- India
- Montenegro
- Myanmar
- Nepal
- Pakistan
- Serbia
- Sri Lanka
Citizens of India and China planning for a single entry trip to Malaysia for up to 15 days are able to apply for the Malaysia eNTRI visa,
which is also available though a simple electronic application.
Single Entry Visa Application Requirement
In order to submit Malaysia Single Entry Visa Application, the applicants are required to
provide the following:

Digital copies of the front of a valid passport eligible for the Malaysia eVisa
(Indian citizens must also provide the last page of the document)
• A recent passport-sized photograph of the applicant
•
Confirmed return flight bookings
•
A valid debit or credit card to pay the Malaysia visa fee
•
A current email address to which the approved single-entry visa will be sent
•
Copy of birth certificate (for minor applicants)
•
Proof of accommodation
•
Digital copy of the last traveled exit stamp on your passport (Bangladeshi
citizens who have previously traveled to Malaysia only)
Before completing the application, it is necessary to ensure that all of the
information is correct and matches the details of the applicant’s passport. This
is because even minor errors are likely to result in days in receiving the
eVisa, or denial of the application.
Once the Malaysia Single Entry Visa has been approved, the applicant will
receive an email attached with the Single Entry Visa. You're required to print
out the visa and present to immigration officer on your entry point to Malaysia.
Upon arrival at Malaysian border control, the traveler will be required to
present the following documents alongside their passport to gain access to the
country:
• Valid Passport / Travel Documents
•
A printed copy of the Malaysia single-entry visa
•
Confirmed return flight tickets
•
Proof of accommodation in Malaysia, e.g. hotel reservations
•
Proof of sufficient funds to cover the trip (either cash, a credit or debit
card, or travelers checks)
Remarks: While having a visa does not guarantee entry to Malaysia, immigration officers at entry point reserves the right to ask/request additional documentation deemed necessary.
