Reminder to Malaysian Travelers

Malaysian travelers are reminded to abide the laws and regulations during visit to foreign country. Stern action could be taken if you fail to do so. Offences that should be avoided:

1. Overstay
2. Abuse of pass/visa
3. Use of fraudulence document
4. Work illegally
5. Engage in criminal activities
6. Engage in human trafficking

 

Legal action could be taken by Malaysia Immigration Department to the Malaysian for the offence(s) committed in a foreign country as follow:
 

 Offence committed abroad

 Defer passport issuance

Criminal

5 years

Drugs

10 years minimum

Tarnish the image of the country

3 years

Returning to Malaysia with an expired passport of more than six (6) months.

2 years

Other offence (s) (e.g. gambling, immoral activities, etc.)
